Biography
A creative writing professor in the MFA in Writing Program at the University of San Francisco, I teach courses in fiction and autobiographical writing. I also lead literature and writing workshops for adults in San Francisco. Since joining the faculty at USF in 2002, I have published a dozen short stories in such publications as Washington Square, The Missouri Review, Opium, Morbid Curiosity, and Fourteen Hills. I have completed the manuscript for my first novel, Rocket Man. I am currently writing my second novel, The History of Adoption.
